With all the incredible achievements Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani reached this past season, he made sure his dog was with him to receive the big news. The two-way player was announced as the 2023 American League Most Valuable Player Award winner for the second time in his career. After an unfathomable campaign, Ohtani received all 30 first-place votes and became the first player in MLB history to win the accolade unanimously multiple times. However, most adorably, the 29-year-old celebrated the honor by giving his pup a high five, some head scratches, and of course doggy treats.
