It’s not often you see a perfect game in Baseball. Perhaps even more rare is a team Perfect Game with four different pitchers taking the mound. Team Puerto Rico’s José De León, Yacksel Rios, Edwin Díaz and Duane Underwood Jr. did just that Monday night. After five and two-thirds innings of perfection from De León, Puerto Rico’s closers did the rest, leaving Team Israel without a hit. Not to be overlooked is Puerto Rico’s Martín Maldonado, who caught for all four pitchers, helping to lead his team to a 10-0 mercy rule win.
