Pittsburgh Pirates rookie hurler Jared Jones continued to shine through the first month of the season. The first-year player was at it again on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers, allowing only one earned run and punching out seven hitters over six innings of work. The 22-year-old became only the fourth pitcher to collect seven or more strikeouts in each of his first five career starts since 1893. His effort went a long way to pick up the divisional win, 4-2.
