Third baseman Addison Barger had something to prove after the Toronto Blue Jays called him up last week. The opportunity finally came on Monday for the 24-year-old, collecting his first big-league hit with a single to center field in the sixth inning. Barger would add another career-first two batters later, touching home plate for the first time to make it 6-4. That lead would be enough to pick up a home victory over the Kansas City Royals, 6-5.
