Predictably, the fans relished the opportunity to indulge, purchasing a mind-melting 44,269 dogs throughout the game. On the field, DJ Stewart’s game-winning three-run blast had more than some extra mustard on it, ensuring the Chicago Cubs couldn’t catch up for the win, 4-2.
