Shota Imanaga doesn’t seem to be taking any time to get accustomed to the United States. The Chicago Cubs hurler pitched another gem on Wednesday against the New York Mets, tossing seven innings of scoreless Baseball to lead his team to a 1-0 win. Already the first pitcher in big-league history since at least 1901 to go 4-0 with an ERA under 1.00, Imanaga added another historic milestone to his resume. Through six starts the Japanese pitcher’s 0.78 ERA ranks as the fourth-best in MLB history.
