Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz continued to wreak havoc on the base paths. The young star swiped two more bags against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday evening, giving him a league-leading 21 stolen bases on the season. Even more impressive, the steals came on back-to-back pitches. De La Cruz’s 21 thefts are the second-most for a Reds player through 36 games since 1901, trailing only Deion Sanders’ 23 in 1997.
