The Colorado Rockies won their seventh straight game on Wednesday afternoon in San Diego, thanks in part to young outfielder Jordan Beck. In the top of the sixth, the rookie turned on an inside fastball, sending it over the left-field wall for a two-run dinger. Beck's first career homer was part of a 3-4 day including five RBI, as Colorado completed a three-game road sweep of the Padres. "That's definitely something you dream of," Beck said of homer No. 1, "and hope you can do a bunch more times."
