Shohei Ohtani becomes the first player in MLB history to record at least 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season, achieving the milestone with a 40th homer on Sept. 19 vs. ARI and a 40th steal on Sept. 24 vs. SF. Ohtani joins the 40-40 club in style, becoming just the 8th player in MLB history to reach the mark and the first since Jose Canseco in 1988. The two-way superstar also becomes the first player in MLB history to record at least 100 RBIs and 20 stolen bases in three straight seasons.
