F1 Milestone: 250th pole position

Charles Leclerc helped Scuderia Ferrari claim their 250th pole position at Monte Carlo 2024. Leclerc was in excellent form all weekend and produced a brilliant performance in qualifying to start Sunday’s race in P1 – a race he went on to win. It marks the 250th pole position in Scuderia Ferrari’s storied history in F1®. The first pole position was way back at the FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX 1951 with Jose Froilán Gonzalez claiming P1 in qualifying. Leclerc will be proud to have achieved such a memorable milestone for the team at his home race. There are sure to be many more pole positions in the years ahead.
