The call to The Show finally arrived for Cleveland Guardians second baseman Daniel Schneemann. The 27-year-old call-up didn’t waste any time, lacing a first-pitch, two-run double down the right-field line in the second inning to put his Club on the board. Not only was Schneemann’s first career hit, but he became just the fourth player in team history over the last 18 seasons to do so on their first career pitch seen. “It’s definitely a day I won’t forget,” he said after the game.
