The slugger broke out a custom bat for the first game of the series, where the Phillie Phanatic was dressed as a Royal Guard. He put the bat to good use in the game, collecting three hits in the game, including a fourth-inning homer. Harper and his bat helped to power the team to a 7-2 win.
