Secures pole position with perfect final lap

Lando Norris secured pole position for the second time in his career thanks to one of the most incredible final qualifying laps in Formula 1 history. The McLaren F1 Team driver produced an extraordinary display in qualifying to gain the edge on Max Verstappen by two hundredths of a second. Norris battled hard with Max Verstappen and secured pole position with a stunning final lap of 1:11.383 to take top spot on the grid for Sunday’s race. A perfect lap that secured his first ever pole position in dry conditions and the second in his career.
