Making his MLB debut, the 25-year-old ripped a single to right field to record his first big-league hit in the third inning. Rice wasn’t shy from showing emotion, carrying a big smile as he reached first base. “It was really cool,” Rice reflected on his first hit. “Surreal moment for sure.” The New Hampshire native even took in his first Yankee Stadium roll call like a champ.
