Jonathan Cannon had a historic night on the mound Tuesday night against the Houston Astros. The Chicago White Sox hurler pitched scoreless ball for eight and 2/3 innings, becoming the first rookie in franchise history since Zach Stewart (2011) to be unscathed through as many frames. More importantly, the team’s number 11 prospect earned his first MLB win. “I’ll definitely never forget this night,” Cannon said after the 2-0 victory. “Hopefully the first of many more.”
