Nicknamed “Big Christmas,” Jhonkensy Noel gave the Cleveland Guardians an early gift in his MLB debut. Stepping up to the plate for the first time in his career, Noel wasted no time against the Baltimore Orioles. The 22-year-old connected on a pitch from Grayson Rodriguez, sending the ball soaring 413 feet over the center-field wall in the second inning. Noel became the fourth player in franchise history to homer in his first career at-bat, and the first since Kevin Kouzmanoff in 2006.
