Christian Vázquez delivered a clutch two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Twins over the Guardians, 4-3. The go-ahead hit came off Cleveland reliever Emmanuel Clase, capping a dramatic comeback after the Twins trailed by two runs in the seventh. Vázquez, who had entered the game as a pinch-runner in the sixth, stayed in to bat and drove in the winning runs with a sharp single to left field. The Twins improved to 12-6 on the season with the walk-off victory.
