It’s been a torrid first half for Marcell Ozuna, and on Friday the slugger made Atlanta Braves history. Ozuna entered the night tied with Andruw Jones as the only Braves players in the Atlanta era to reach 75 RBI before the All-Star break. In Atlanta’s 6-1 road win over the San Diego Padres, Ozuna slugged two solo homers to set a new first half RBI record for Atlanta. The dingers were Ozuna’s 25th and 26th of the year. It marked his third multi-homer game this season and 21st of his career.
