One of the hottest hitters in Baseball turned up the heat on Saturday to historic levels. Cincinnati Reds outfielder Rece Hinds added a first career multi-homer game to what’s been an incredible list of accomplishments made in short order. Hinds now has nine extra-base hits through his first six games - two more than any other player in history. His two longballs in Saturday’s 10-6 win vs. Miami were moonshots to boot - traveling a combined 884 feet. “It’s amazing to watch,” Reds Manager David Bell remarked of Hinds’ performance.
