Entering the 2024 T-Mobile Home Run Derby as a double-digit underdog, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernández was out to prove himself. The Dominican Republic native put on a show for the crowd at Globe Life Field, becoming the first player in franchise history to win the event. Hernández not only reached Dodgers glory but did so in his first career derby. The 31-year-old flexed his muscle, belting 49 homers and defeating Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. in the final round.
