It was a long road back to the bump for longtime Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, but the veteran southpaw finally made his 2024 debut on Thursday afternoon. Kershaw officially kicked off his 17th season with the team in a matchup with the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium, striking out six batters over four innings. After giving up two runs on four hits to start the third frame, Kershaw rebounded by striking out the side and limiting any further damage, helping his team to an eventual 6-4 win.
