In his first game since being traded back to the Club where he started his career, the 36-year-old made his impact felt. Holding onto a 4-1 lead in the fifth inning, Pham was called upon to pinch hit with the bases loaded. The decision proved to be the right one with the veteran hitting a grand slam. The hit would propel the Cardinals to an 8-1 win.
