Unexpected guest makes special appearance

Lionel the Lizard was the unexpected star of the weekend, making a surprise appearance in Free Practice 3 of the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2024. Lionel brought FP3 to a standstill as he ventured onto the track to get a taste of the action on Saturday. The three-foot monitor lizard stunned drivers and fans alike with an entertaining cameo appearance that caused a brief delay to the free practice. Lionel demonstrated some incredible speed of its own when engaging in a foot race with several marshals – who were given a real reprieve runaround trying to catch the speedy track intruder. A comical moment that kickstarted an excellent weekend of racing action in Singapore.
