Headliner shortstop Bobby Witt Jr.'s lone hit in Sunday's 8-1 win was no ordinary one. The third-year player laced an RBI-single to right field in the ninth inning to tack on another run. Witt's knock gave him 500 for his career, making him the second-youngest (24 years and 65 days old) player in Royals history to reach the plateau. Only Hall-of-Famer George Brett arrived at the mark at a younger age (23 years and 100 days old). The young star continues to add to his MVP-caliber season.
