DANNY JANSEN became the first player in MLB history to play for both teams in the same game when he entered as a pinch-hitter for the Padres in the top of the 8th inning and then played catcher for the Rangers in the bottom of the 8th. The two-way player made his MLB debut on 08-26-2023 with San Diego and was claimed off waivers by Texas on 09-01-2023.
