Honours Ayrton Senna with fitting tribute

Lewis Hamilton, McLaren Racing and Honda paid tribute to F1® great Ayrton Senna as he was given the honour of driving the iconic McLaren MP4/5B for several laps at the FORMULA 1 GRANDE PRÊMIO DE SÃO PAULO 2024. It was a special moment for Hamilton and one that has praised as the greatest honour of his F1® career. The British driver paid tribute to a legend of the sport on the 30th anniversary of his passing by driving Senna’s 1990 title winning MP4/5B in front of an adoring home crowd. An emotional moment for all involved as the British driver made his way around the Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit. Hamilton was handed the Brazilian flag and lifted it high as he drove around the track to cross the chequered flag.
