Nick Yorke officially introduced himself to MLB. The Pittsburgh Pirates sixth overall prospect notched his first career hit Tuesday night against the St. Louis Cardinals. Playing in his second career MLB game, Yorke picked up the knock in the fifth inning, hitting an 86.4 MPH cutter into center field. The young prospect would follow up his hit with two more in the seventh and ninth innings. Yorke, who had his family on hand for the contest, spoke about the achievement after the game. "It means a lot," Yorke said.
