Bobby Witt Jr. hasn’t seen a record he didn’t want to break. The Kansas City Royals superstar added to his amazing 2024 season in the team’s game against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. Witt set a new Royals single-season record with his 87th extra-base hit on an eighth-inning double. Witt is now the first player in MLB history to have at least 10 triples, 30 stolen bases, 30 home runs, and 40 doubles in a season.
