The Chicago Cubs future looks bright after Kevin Alcántara’s MLB debut on Wednesday. The Club’s sixth-ranked prospect stepped to the plate in the ninth inning, searching for his first career hit. He found it, hitting a dribble down the third-base line. Alcántara flashed his elite speed on the chop, prompting third baseman Kody Clemens to not even attempt the throw. “I was running so fast,” Alcántara said. “I made a hit and I feel so awesome.”
