Max Verstappen

It was another race win for the newly crowned 2024 FIA Formula 1® Drivers’ World Champion as he cruised to victory at the Lusail International Circuit. Verstappen started the race in P2 but didn’t waste any time in getting himself to the front – taking the lead from George Russell on the first corner. From there on in the Dutchman showed his class and led from the front for the remainder of the race. The victory is his ninth this season and takes him to 429 points, 80 clear of second placed Lando Norris with just one more race to go this season.
