Bobby Witt Jr. is officially a batting title winner. The Kansas City Royals superstar went 1-for-4 on Sunday to finish the year with a .332 average, besting Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s .323 mark. Witt's first career batting title is the fifth in franchise history, and he became just the third Royals hitter to lead the League in batting average, joining George Brett in 1980 (.390) and Willie Wilson in 1982 (.332). He also became the first shortstop in MLB history to record multiple 30/30 seasons.
