Scores point on home soil for first time

Yuki Tsunoda secured a point on home soil for the very first time as he picked up a 10th placed finish at the FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2024. It was a race to remember for the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team driver, who gave the home fans something to cheer about as he crossed the chequered flag in a points position. The Japanese driver started the race in P10 and had to battle hard to maintain this position following a challenging start to the race that saw him drop a few places. However, Tsunoda’s determination to finish in the points, combined with an impressive pit strategy and driving display, saw him regain 10th spot and achieve his first ever point at Suzuka. A moment he will never forget and a point that now takes him to seven points for the season.
