With Oklahoma City raising its 2024-25 NBA Championship banner, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made sure the Thunder's night ended in victory. The reigning NBA MVP scored 24 of his 35 points from the fourth quarter on in a 125-124 double overtime win over Houston. Gilgeous-Alexander set an NBA record for the most points in the 4th quarter/OT of a season opener in the 21st century.
