Making his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Matt Gorski made noise against the Angels. The six-foot-two prospect crushed a 115.2-mph no-doubter over the wall in his first career at-bat. Gorski’s blast tied him with Jake Burger (2021) for the hardest-hit first dinger under Statcast (2015). "Every level besides Triple-A, my first hit has been a homer," Gorski said.
