Home runs powered the Athletics offense to a 7-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Friday night, and the newest addition to their lineup was in on the act. Max Muncy, still in search of his first MLB hit in the top of the eighth inning, hit a 430-foot blast to make it a 6-0 game. He became the 10th Athletics player since 2000 to homer for his first career hit.
