Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama defied reality with an otherworldly showing for the San Antonio Spurs. He scored 40 points in a 136-108 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, with 37 scored in the first half, the most by a Spur since 1997-98. Wembanyama tied for the most Q1 points by a center ever (25) and played the fewest minutes in a 40-point game since Sleepy Floyd (24) in 1991.
