The former No. 1 pick opened with a 37–35 win over Team World, then led Team USA Stars to a 47–21 rout of Team USA Stripes in the final game. Edwards totaled 32 points, nine rebounds, and three assists to claim the Kobe Bryant trophy as the Kia NBA All-Star Game MVP.
