Angels top prospect Christian Moore had his “Big Apple” moment when it counted most. Moore, who grew up in Brooklyn, cracked a triple in the eighth inning at Yankee Stadium for his first MLB hit. He later scored his first MLB run in the 11th frame, ultimately the game-winner in a 1-0 road victory. “It’s a dream come true,” remarked the 22-year-old.
