Shohei Ohtani becomes the first player in MLB history to record at least 35 home runs and 20 stolen bases in a single season. The two-way star accomplished the feat in a 5-3 victory over the Miami Marlins on September 16, 2021. Ohtani also became the first player since Babe Ruth in 1921 to reach 35 homers and 20 stolen bases in the same campaign.
