The Seattle Mariners pitching staff rewrote the Club’s record books during a holiday weekend sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates. For the first time in franchise history, the Mariners posted back-to-back 1-0 wins following Sunday’s triumph. It also marked the first time the Club shut opponents out in three straight games, beginning with Friday’s 6-0 win.
