Baltimore Orioles right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano checked off a big goal as he took on the Kansas City Royals, earning his first MLB win. The 35-year-old gave his opponents little to work with, allowing just one run over five and 1/3 innings. A two-time Sawamura Award winner in Japan, Sugano looked "way more comfortable" according to Manager Brandon Hyde in the victory.
