Mason Miller

The recently-acquired arm of Mason Miller didn't shy from showing what it's made of in its San Diego Padres debut. The fireballer tossed a scoreless eighth inning with a strikeout, tying the mark for the fastest pitch (102.8 mph) in Club history during the pitch-tracking era (2008). Miller's effort set up Robert Suarez for the eventual 4-1 win over St. Louis.
