Jhoan Duran broke records while securing his second save in as many appearances. Duran’s effort included the fastest pitch in Philadelphia Phillies history at 103.3 mph. He then ended a 2-0 shutout of the Detroit Tigers with a fastball clocked at 102.5 mph, the fastest game-ending strikeout pitch by a Club hurler in the pitch-tracking era (since 2008).
