Oscar Piastri made history by becoming the first Australian driver to win six races in a Formula 1® season. It was another special weekend for the Australian star as he claimed victory at the FORMULA 1 BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2025. Piastri started the race in P2 and made the perfect start, producing an incredible overtake on the very first lap to claim the lead. He produced an exceptional drive in testing conditions to extend his lead in the FIA Formula 1® Driver’s World Championship standings to 16 points. His sixth win of the season, a feat no other Australian driver has achieved before.
