Alex Freeland has officially made his mark in MLB. The Dodgers' young shortstop showed his acumen at the plate on Friday against the San Diego Padres. At the top of the third inning, Freeland swung for the fences, smashing a solo homer. The home run is the first of his career, and gives him four extra-base hits over his last five games.
