Cleveland Guardians hurler Parker Messick showed he was ready for an encore on the big stage by firing seven shutout frames with six punchouts to earn his first career win in a 3-0 victory over Tampa Bay. Messick is the third pitcher in Club history with six-plus innings pitched, no more than one run allowed, and six-plus strikeouts in each of his first two career starts.
