Chicago White Sox shortstop Colson Montgomery has been a reason to cheer in the South Side since his July debut. The youngster turned it on in August, hitting his 10th homer of the month in a 3-2 win over the New York Yankees to tie a White Sox rookie record set by José Abreu (2014). “Everything that he’s done for this organization, I’m honored,” Montgomery said postgame.
