Set new team record w/ 27 hits in 20-1 victory

There was an electricity flowing throughout the Kansas City Royals lineup as they hosted the visiting Toronto Blue Jays - and a seven-run opening frame set the pace for what ended up being a 20-1 victory. In the process, the Royals set a single-game record 27 hits. "I wanted to get back in the dugout as quick as I could and get the guys back hitting again," said starter Michael Lorenzen of the team's incredible performance.
