Washington Nationals second baseman Luis García Jr. had a night at the plate that he won’t forget. Hosting the Chicago White Sox, the 25-year-old slugged three homers in a game for the first time in his MLB career. García’s huge night at the plate was the first of its kind for a Nationals hitter since 2022 (Lane Thomas) and the first at home since 2021 (Kyle Schwarber).
