Victor Wembanyama swatted shots and struck fear into the hearts of offenses on the way to his first career NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. Wembanyama averaged 25 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks as he led the San Antonio Spurs to their first playoff berth in seven years. He became both the youngest (22) and the only unanimous DPOY award winner in NBA history.
